2016년 인디펜던트로 첫 멀티 싱글 [아엠죠지]를 발매한 죠지는, 곧 한국의 독보적인 레이블 크래프트앤준에서 싱글 [Boat]를 발매하였다. 편안하면서도 유니크한 목소리로 녹음된 ‘Boat’의 유쾌한 음악과 뮤직비디오는 순식간에 많은 대중들에게 죠지의 이미지를 알리는 계기가 되었다. 그 후 2년 새에 싱글‘Swimming Pool’, ‘바라봐줘요’, 그리고 EP 앨범 [cassette]와 [LEEEE]를 발매하였고, 이는 유쾌한 이미지와는 별개로 그가 음악적으로 넓은 스펙트럼을 갖고 있다는 것을 보여주었다. 이를 통해 여러 장르의 아티스트들과 협업하기도 하고, OST 작업등 다양한 활동을 이어가고 있다. 또한 첫 EP 앨범 [cassette]가 한국대중음악상에 노미네이트되기도 하였다.

george is an R & B singer-songwriter who has captured listeners with the addictive chorus of [Boat] and its music video with cheerful vibes. Since then, george has released singles and EPs in collaboration with various artists such as Primary, ADOY, and Kim Hyun-chul. Through this, george showed his own tone and musical competence and gradually imprinted its presence in the public. In the subsequent EP [LEEEE], george was once again recognized by the public, leaving them with high expectations for the next album.
